If insurance doesnt cover in a car accident, if the person at fault gets sued, would their parents lose home?

so if insurance doesnt cover completely in the event of a car accident and the person at fault is sued for bodily injury and whatnot. If the person at fault is over 18, can the person suing come after the parents money/home/etc or anything?
