Is it treason when you change the articles of the Constitution?

Our forefathers realized that as we grew as a nation we would need to constantly change the Constitution therefore they provided that we be able to change it while providing certain stipulations to prevent corruption- the President himself cannot make any changes-because we live in a democracy we vote for the people who make up congress-they then vote the way they think will keep them in office the longest-but because it is actually written in the Constitution that we can change it -voting to change things in the Constitution is not treason-If, however, something was voted down and he said screw you I'm doing what I want anyway-that would probably be considered as a treasonous act--I believe everyone should read the Constitution from beginning to end and then vote for the appropriate people to represent him or her
