I am the moderator of my group. I have an email address that also has an alias. Somehow, the group?

does not recognize me as a member??? I can not get in to approve, update, contact the members. I have tried to join, and now, since it is a moderated group, I get the message that I have to be approved. And, that would be ME who would approve since I am the ONLY moderator! I have tried changing my primary email to the actual email - no luck. Any help ?
