Would it be easier to re enter Canada if I did not marry my Japanese g/f who is here on a 6 month visitor visa

I ask that because I know a poe officer can refuse entry to someone if he thinks they may stay in Canada longer than allowed. If I married her then the poe officer would have to think she is going to want to stay with me in Canada rather than leave when she's supposed to.
